Cook Point to High Camp
One of our favourite ways to explore the Lake Eildon National Park is on foot. A not too long but still challenging hike is the grade 3, 10.5km Cook Point to High Camp circuit hike.
The hike commences at the Perfect Cure Car Park and follows the Keg Spur Track to High Camp. Turning east at the junction of Blowhard Spur Track the trail then descends down to Cook Point. From here you will follow the Wallaby Bay Track past Teal Bay, Wallaby Bay and back to your start point at Devil Cove.
Taking about 4 hours to complete there are a few steep sections and some beautiful views of the lake as the trail loops along the shoreline and surrounding hills.
GETTING THERE
From Eildon travel along Skyline Road for approx. 9.7km and then turn right at its junction with UT Creek Road onto Fraser Park Road. Follow this for approx. 5.4km until you reach Perfect Cure Car Park at the start of the Keg Spur Track on your left.
