Easily accessible by car, Murrindindi has some of the most diverse lookouts that overlook the pristine waters of Lake Eildon, the rolling hills of Acheron, the Marysville State Forest and Cathedral Ranges, the green hills of Alexandra on the Great Victorian Rail Trail and Melbourne CBD on a clear day.

Did you know? Murchison Gap is named after John Murchison, the original squatter of Kerrisdale Station, one of the three original squatting runs in the district. The lookout at Murchison Gap commands breathtaking views of the 'Valley of a Thousand Hills' and the King Parrot Creek Catchment.
